TweakBox Errors and Solutions
While TweakBox is used by millions and is reliable, there are a few common installation errors that have been reported by iOS users. Here, we look at how you can fix these errors:
1. White or Blank Screen
Incredibly common, this looks bad but is very simple to fix:
- Go to iOS Settings and tap the Safari option
- Tap on Clear Website Data
Try using TweakBox again, and the screen will be normal
2. TweakBox Stopped Working
This is because the app developer/source is not verified. Follow these steps to do that:
- Delete and reinstall TweakBox
- Go to Settings>General>Profiles
- Find and tap the app certificate
- Tap Verify or Trust and close settings
You should find that the app works now
3. Invalid Argument Supplied
Again, this looks far more complicated than it is:
- Remove TweakBox from your device and reinstall it
- Reboot your device
- Launch TweakBox and go into the Settings
- Install any available updates
TweakBox should now work
4. Cannot Download TweakBox
Perhaps the commonest of all errors, this is also one of the simplest to solve:
- Remove TweakBox from your device – all traces of it
- Restart your device
- Download TweakBox again – it should work
This tends to happen when you are running an older version of the installer, and a conflict arises with the new version
5. Profile Installation Failed Error
Usually, this occurs when Apple’s servers are struggling with an overload of traffic, and the best thing to do is just wait; try again in a few hours. If it still keeps happening, try this:
- Enable Airplane mode and open Settings
- Tap on Safari>Clear History and Website Data
- Tap Clear History and Data
- Disable Airplane mode and wait for a few minutes
- Install TweakBox again
You should find that it works as it should now
6. Untrusted Developer Error
This happens with all third-party apps and is easy to resolve:
- Open Settings>General>Profiles
- Find the app developer name in the list and tap it
- Tap Trust
The error will not appear again
7. App Certificate Revoked
This happens regularly with unofficial apps, and preventing it requires the use of a paid VPN or an Anti-Revoke app.
8. Update CMP
If you get this error:
- Open Settings>Safari
- Tap Clear Website Data
- Try again
You have nothing to lose by trying TweakBox and, once you do, you probably won’t go back to the official app stores again. Try it today and see how you get.
